About

David Andrew Wiebe

David Andrew Wiebe (aka Adorable Andrew) graduated from Rocky Mountain College in 2002 with a Certificate in Discipleship. He's been teaching guitar and exploring his passion for the creative arts ever since.

Born in Canada and raised in Japan, Wiebe has a diverse background from which to draw upon. From kindergarten to Jr. High, he attended public school and became fluent in Japanese. At the time, one of his favorite forms of artistic expression was drawing and writing Japanese comics (better known as 'manga'), taking influence from his favorite manga and video games for inspiration.

Having grown up at the epicenter of technological advancement, Wiebe had the chance to enjoy all the latest gaming consoles and video games before they were ever released in North America and other countries. Like any self-respecting kid, he took full advantage of this opportunity.

His love for movies and creative writing began to take shape when his family returned to Canada in 1997. In Japan it was a rarity for Wiebe to go to the theatre because there were very few in proximity, and ticket prices were outrageous. In Canada, however, movie theatres were commonplace, and ticket prices were reasonable (at the time).

In 2007, Wiebe began reviewing movies and video games. Although he had begun developing a strong interest in writing when he published his first website in 1998, it wasn't until later that he started taking more interest in content creation.
