GUITAR LESSON - RAPID SEQUENTIAL PULL-OFF EXERCISES
I've heard that Steve Morse really narrows in on the problem areas in his playing. Recently while working on some of my songs I decided to take a closer look at my own playing and this was one of the exercises I came up with.

I have a song where I use rapid pull-offs on the same string and wanted to work on that aspect of my playing, so that's how this exercise came about. One thing to remember when you're working on this exercise is to mute the stings you're not playing, especially the 4th string. One of the strategies I came up with was to curl the ring finger on my picking hand around the 4th sting. This is probably one of the better strategies I came up with, as I didn't have to worry about my fretting hand causing unintended noises. How will you tackle this problem?
