Guitar Lesson - Experiment: Practicing 5 Days a Week – Day 4
For better or for worse, I was distracted by many small tasks yesterday, and this had an effect on my practice time. Obviously there's something to be said for balance, because there are many everyday tasks that can't be avoided and shouldn't be avoided (cleaning, paying the bills, checking the mail, keeping in touch with people, etc.).

Nevertheless, I put in my 30 minutes on the keyboard at home and since I had some spare time at work I was able to use that time to work on my arpeggios. All in all it wasn't as productive as I would have liked, so I will need to keep an eye on this situation in the future.

As I look forward to today, I'm already finding it a little difficult to keep away from my guitars. I'm not really feeling guilty yet, which is good, but I tend to gravitate towards them when I need to kill some time. Still, the whole basis of this experiment is to see whether rest time will have a positive effect on my development, so I will need to avoid playing and just rest.
