Guitar Lesson - Experiment: Practicing 5 Days a Week – Day 27
Day 26 was a productive practice day. I'm finding that short periods of focused practice time are generating very favorable results.

Here's my practice log for day 26:
  • Warm-up Exercises (8 minutes)
  • Review (10 minutes)
    • Jazz Arpeggios
    • Steve Morse Picking Exercise
    • Arpeggios From Hell
    • I Know You're Here
    • Red Flag
    • Paint the Town Red
  • Songwriting (48 minutes)
  • Exercises (Joe Charupakorn) pages 148 - 185 (1 hour 9 minutes)
  • Original Composition (25 minutes)
After some careful consideration, I've decided that songwriting should be a part of my daily practice. All the new things I'm learning are inspiring new ideas and I think it would be best get these ideas out while I'm in the "zone".
