Guitar Lesson - Experiment: Practicing 5 Days a Week – Day 25
Yesterday ended up being a condensed practice day, just as expected. The reason? I had a rather important appointment in the morning, and shortly after having lunch I had to head in to work. If you've been following this experiment then you already know that my work days don't allow me to get as much practice as I would like.
Nevertheless, here's my practice log for day 24:
- Warm-up Exercises (6 minutes)
- Review (6 minutes)
- Jazz Arpeggios
- Steve Morse Picking Exercise
- Arpeggios From Hell
- I Know You're Here
- Red Flag
- Lick Creation (27 minutes)
- Original Composition (9 minutes)
- Original Composition (21 minutes)
I came up with a cool new lick that I would love to share with you, but I'm thinking of using it in a song so I'm going to hold off this time. I'm pretty sure it's not the first time someone has come up with a similar idea but it's still cool to me.
