Guitar Lesson - Experiment: Practicing 5 Days a Week – Day 23
I'm going to be taking today off and starting my practice cycle tomorrow just as planned. One of the side effects of going 2 days without practice is that I often find myself thinking about what I'd like to do when I get back to it. In other words, it has had the added effect of refocusing my priorities.

Another benefit is that it has freed up some time for me to work on other things like planning and researching. My average day usually consists of more than just playing music, so this is definitely a good thing. Today, for example, I will be looking to finish up a website project with my business partner (which could take anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours), so it would be rather impractical to try to get a decent amount of practice on top of everything else that's going on.
