Guitar Lesson - Experiment: Practicing 5 Days a Week – Day 15
Day 12 Rest first. Practice second. I knew that I needed to get over my cold in order to be more effective so once and for all I put more emphasis on rest rather than work. However, some decent practice time was had in the afternoon. Day 13 I was feeling better on Saturday but I wasn't fully recovered from my cold. I decided to rest some more, though I did get a bit of practice. Day 14 Much like last Sunday, I had a bit of running around to do and a gig to play in the evening. I practiced a bit before packing everything up and heading to my friend's place where we jammed for a bit. The show went pretty well. My voice still wasn't up to snuff because of the cold. Today I'm finally feeling like I've almost beaten this cold. I'm still not back in my regular routine, however, and that means that I'm not going to be quite as productive as I usually am. It's getting to be a bit frustrating, but health is more important than work. It has occurred to me that I could be doing a better job of logging my practice time so I will try to do a better job of that with future reports.
