Guitar Lesson - Habits of a Developing Guitarist: Supplementary
In the Habits of a Developing Guitarist series I noted that there are many helpful resources for the practicing guitarist which are either free or can be obtained cheaply. In this article I'd like to share with you some of the resources I've found helpful.

Obviously I can't decide for you what you should study, so here are some generalized resources that are right at your fingertips:

Books
Modes for Guitar by Tom Kolb - A comprehensive look at modes with many licks and examples to try.
Exercises by Joe Charupakorn - You're going to work on finger exercises anyway, why not focus your practice time with this book?

Personal Development
StevePavlina.com: Personal Development for Smart People - Have you ever felt like you could be using your time more efficiently? Have you ever felt like you're not achieving everything you'd like to in life? Do yourself a favor and visit this website.

Video
YouTube - On YouTube it's easy to find live performances of your favorite artists. Watch and learn!

Websites
Amazon.com - A great online store for guitar books, CDs, DVDs and more. It's especially useful if you're looking for otherwise hard-to-find products.
iBreatheMusic.com - Lots of guitar related articles from a variety of experts.
Ultimate Guitar - Tons of tabs and articles with new ones being added daily.

Of course, you can make good use of my guitar section too!
