GUITAR LESSON - ALTERNATE PICKING PRECISION EXERCISES This exercises focuses on a common problem area of alternate picking/string-skipping. The first repeated segment focuses on the 6th, 5th, and 4th string, while the second repeated segment focuses primarily on a different grouping (5th, 4th, and 2nd string).

Ignore the tempo marking at first, until you feel comfortable with the exercise. It should go without saying, but don't forget to alternate pick, as this is the real challenge with this exercise.
