A brief rundown of things discussed by Adorable Andrew (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra):

  • Andrew suggests that Ripcord, the supposed comedic relief of the film, was not funny.
  • Andrew criticizes the movie for having too much action, and for the useless dialogue.
  • Andrew criticizes the initial encounter between young Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow because Storm Shadow is clearly not speaking Japanese when they're supposed to be in Tokyo.
  • Andrew summarizes that the movie does redeem itself, at least somewhat, by the end.

A brief rundown of things discussed by Adorable Andrew (Dragonball Evolution):

  • Andrew acknowledges that the movie doesn't bare much resemblance to the original story as told by Akira Toriyama. Nevertheless, he argues that the movie took influence from many of the good parts.
  • Andrew argues that although they weren't able to feature many of the characters from the main storyline, they still had a good assortment.
  • Andrew suggests that the first 40 - 50 minutes of the film were quite good, but the rest of the film felt truncated.
  • Andrew admits that he may have had low expectations for this movie which is why he still enjoyed it.
